I like a little bit of flare in my pictures – it adds a little bit to a scene – especially if the scene is kind of stale (architecture tends to to do this for me). The Anaheim Convention Center is such a place, but there’s a great courtyard with palm trees and waterfalls leading there. I couldn’t figure out how to make it interesting though, but with the fisheye, I was able to take in more of the scene and stopped it down all the way to f/22 to get the starburst effect.
Afterwards, we went across the street to Downtown Disney to have lunch and walk around (in the dry, windy, and stifling heat). Before I got my hands dirty with powdered sugar from beignets, I snapped a few shots of the sculptures in front of the Lego store.
